Tom McMahon
Chief Executive and Owner

Tom literally grew up in the building industry and has gone on to make it his life’s work. As a teen, his earliest jobs were in home construction and architectural design. He graduated with a business degree from Purdue University, and following that, proudly served as an officer in the United States Navy.

After a decade of being mentored in the home-building business, Tom started McMahon Homes in 1981. Under Tom’s guidance, the company has matured from a scattered lot, custom homebuilder to the company it is today. McMahon Homes currently operates throughout the Richmond metropolitan area and is found in many of the finest subdivisions offering homes to “move-up” families and active adults alike. Under Tom’s leadership, the company has embraced a culture that is focused upon exceeding customer expectations.

Tom provides the vision that has guided the company for the past 25 years and which it will follow in the years to come.

Bob Schepker
President and Owner

Bob, a native of Richmond, graduated from Benedictine High School and ultimately earned a business degree from Belmont Abbey College.

After graduation, Bob and several long-time friends launched and operated a successful general contracting firm that built numerous new homes and many commercial buildings throughout the Richmond, Virginia area. It was through his firm that Bob became affiliated with McMahon Homes and, in 1982, joined its ranks. His significant business and technical background combined with his strong moral and ethical values have been critical to the company’s success.

In his role with McMahon Homes, Bob oversees all company operations as well as contributing to the vision of the company.
